Hello, Friends!
Guess what?! Sinner Friends recorded an EP! You can expect to listen and satisfy any curiosity you may have as to the validity of our claims to be musicians in the next couple months. We want to thank Adilene Delgado, Keegan Luckey-Smith and especially C.J. Garskof for letting us work in Beehive Studio. Your engineering and feedback were priceless! You are all so talented (and so very PATIENT).
Thanks also to our pal James Edgar for taking some spiffy new photos of us all suited up in our matching duds. We feel less like sinners and more like gentlefolk already, and were so proud to have the hallowed and storied Down Home as our backdrop.
Finally, we are thrilled to announce that we are part of the lineup of the 5th Annual Oldtone Roots Music Festival in North Hillsdale, NY! This is one of the coolest and most special festivals of our time and needless to say we are very honored to be included in this (the best ever?) lineup with some of our pals and heroes, including (but not limited to) Foghorn Stringband, Blind Boy Jerron Paxton, Roochie Toochie and the Ragtime Shepherd Kings, and Alice Gerrard! Thanks for having us, Oldtone! Is it September yet?!
The next few months will be filled with the furious seeking out of great new/old material and opportunities to share said material with all you friends. Help a sinner out and if you think of anything you'd like to hear, or anywhere you would like to see us perform, drop a line and let us know!
